Thank you so much for your incredible support these last twelve months! I genuinely am so grateful for your belief in my work this much, and I want to create something special just for you.
You have the option to choose either a traditional piece or a digital piece for your one of a kind commission.
Traditional Details
- 8″ x 10″ illustration
- will be made with ink, pencil, watercolor, and/or gouache
- mailed to your shipping address upon completion
Digital Details
- 6″ x 9.5″ illustration or a one page comic, up to 6 panels
- emailed to you as a digital file upon completion
Timeline
Commissions can take between 6 to 20 weeks to complete after the details are settled and before it’s mailed to you. Generally, it will be on the shorter timeline of 6 to 10 weeks, but depending on the complexity of the piece, other ongoing professional and personal obligations, and the nature of disability and chaos, it may require longer. Please keep in mind that traditional paintings may take longer than digital ones!
Once your twelfth consecutive billing cycle is complete, I’ll reach out to you with a few questions to discuss your commission’s details. This is where we’ll get excited about the things you want me to draw for you!
Once the details are agreed upon, I’ll send you a contract with the general terms of our agreement. It’ll basically state everything I’ve shared on this page with you, plus a few standard contract terms such as mediation terms, copyright details, and so on. No big surprises, I promise! Please note that you will be required to sign this contract. If you refuse to sign the agreement, you waive your right to commissioning any work from me and will not be entitled to a refund; this agreement is meant to protect both of our rights as consumer and creator.
Once I receive the signed contract, I’ll begin working on your piece!
I’ll keep in touch with you regularly on the progress of the piece, contacting you at least once a month. I know that may not sound like much, but I think you and I both would prefer I spend my working time focusing on your commission and not on emails!
Once the piece is finished, I’ll send it to you! If you request a digital piece, this is where I’ll email you the file for the final piece. If you request a traditional piece, this is when I’ll mail it to the shipping address you used to sign up on Patreon and send you the tracking number.
Things to Know
This is a personal commission, which means that while this piece is made for you, I still own the rights to it as the creator. As such, I retain the right to display it in my portfolio, sell prints of it, license it out, and so on. Considerations will of course be made for maintaining and respecting your privacy.
You are not allowed to use my work for reselling purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, use for NFTs, AI-generated images, and so on.
You are not allowed to use my work for AI-generators in any capacity. This includes, but is not limited to, using my work for sampling, scraping, machine “learning,” image generating, and more.
Please keep in mind the general style of my work when considering becoming a patron to this tier. If you’re looking to commission someone for something with gritty realism or mecha style characters or of your pet, I’d encourage you to consider looking for an artist who does that kind of work or perhaps subscribing to my Dragon tier instead if you still would like to support my work.
