  • A colorful illustration of a scene inside an apartment where a chair is positioned to face an open window where morning light is pouring in. Leaning against the chair is a cane. The room itself shows an art studio. At the window, there is a shelf turned on its side to serve as a shoe holder, and on top are several wooden crates put together to house a variety of colorful inks, packaging materials, and a palette. On top of the crates, level with the window, are several plants-- a potted fiddle leaf fig, a potted pink cyclamen plant, and some white daisies in a vase. There are twinkle lights draped around the window, as well as a single blue curtain. In the corner to the left of the window is a standing lamp tucked behind a peace lily resting on a stool. There's a branch hanging attached to the lamp. To the left of this is a desk where a cacophony of items lie: a painting in progress, a bright and colorful palette, a washcloth covered in paint, a squirrel mug with a stern face, a small potted snake plant, a small potted peperomia plant, water in both a cup and a spray bottle, a computer with a forest landscape screensaver, a keyboard, and a mouse. Underneath the desk is a pink, fluffy rug. Above the desk are two small, floating wooden spice racks serving to hold a converted pink aluminum can holding paintbrushes, a ceramic hedgehog holding tape, a blue container holding a few dried grasses, and a couple of glass potion bottles serving as vases for some pink flowers. Down in front and to the side of the desk, near the chair, is a large snake plant in a blue striped pot.

  • A black and white illustration of a fat, Black person lying in their bed, fast asleep, with their hair protected in a monstera-print silk scarf tied around their head with the knot at the top. They’re lying on their belly with one arm tucked under their pillow with their head turned toward the edge of the bed and their face tucked cozily under their acne-scarred shoulder. They’re sleeping under a leafy blanket, and there’s a hand visible from their partner resting over their belly. There’s a large rug under their bed with a hatched texture and a slightly abstract pattern of leaves and flowers; lying on top of it is their cane and a pair of fuzzy slippers touching the edge of a pair of drawers and shelves behind the bed and under a large window with the striped curtains drawn shut. On the dresser is a variety of items: a letter is loose from its envelope, and it reads “Love You” next to a photo of a pair of people with their arms around one another; some simple jewelry lies in front of the frame, one with a star on it; a daily pill caddy lies nearby, next to several blown out candles with used matches lying next to them; a book titled “Disabled Voices Anthology,” edited by sb. smith; a mug of cold tea; and an alarm clock showing 7:31 AM as the time. Also along the dresser are a couple of fluffy, potted plants (a fittonia and a calathea), as well as a string of twinkle lights that drapes over the edge to trail lightly along the floor next to another potted plant (a snake plant). There’s a final potted plant (a dracaena) in the bottom left corner of the piece on the floor.

  • A colorful illustration of the curve of a person's rolls and belly and their right breast. The person's hand, which shows that they have polydactyly with an additional pinky, is resting lightly on their belly which is covered in long, jagged stretch marks and dimpled by cellulite; the nails are painted a very pale shade of yellow. All over the body, which is drawn in black and white, are crocus flowers blooming in vibrant purple petals with yellow stamens and bright green leaves, all of the flowers seeming to grow toward the person's round nipple which is yellow like the sun. Also all over the body are heaps of freckles, acne, and small, round scars. Between the space made from the person's right arm and their torso is a bright yellow background.

  • A watercolor illustration titled All Are(n't) Welcome-- the title shows both "All Are Welcome" and "All Aren't Welcome" to emphasize that despite saying all are welcome, in fact all are not welcome. The overall piece is very colorful and bright, with lots of green grass, trees, and pink flowers shown. The piece shows a kind of illustrative map from a sidewalk at the bottom of the page to a colorful park with a playground, chess boards, a duck pond, flower beds, trees, and benches at the top of the page, accessed by a long, winding yellow path. At the park, there is a large yellow sign that reads, "All are welcome at the city park!" There are tall city buildings along the edges of the piece, and all along the path are little blue pop up notifications alerting the viewer to a different issue with the route, as well as a bus stop sign that reads, "No bus" and a bright yellow sun that reads, "90 degrees Fahrenheit." At the bottom, there there are two disabled people looking sad because of the lack of access. One is a Black person using a cane, and the other is a Muslim Person of Color using a wheelchair and wearing hijab. Starting at the bottom and working up to the park, the alerts read, "No ramp or rail. Long distance alert (pointing to a ruler showing the distance as about a mile). No rest. Pot holes (showing holes in the path). Path decay (pointing at completely degraded bits of the path). A block (pointing at a scooter on the path). No rest. No shade.

  • A black and white illustration of a nude, fat person sitting up in bed and typing on a laptop with a sketchbook on their lap and a VogMask on their face. Their eyes are smiling, and they look happy. Their dark, wavy hair has a few streaks of white in it, and it's been braided into a thick braid that spills down onto their leaf-tattooed arm, next to their freckled, acne-riddled skin. They have an assistive bar attached to their bed to help with getting in and out of bed, and there is a nightstand next to them filled with a hodgepodge of items: a lamp, a water bottle, a mug of tea with text that reads "fuck off" on it, a roll of toilet paper with a bit sticking out, a pill caddy, a pair of prescription bottles, a couple of Halls cough drops, a curled up charging wire, an extension cord outlet, and a book titled "Sick" by Porochista Khakpour. On the floor is a fluffy carpet, topped with a striped rug with a pair of fuzzy slippers waiting to be used. Above and behind them are several plants, some hanging and some resting on a deep window shelf where we can see outside past the partially closed blinds to see a curious bird perched on a bird feeder and peering inside with a background of pine trees and cloudy sky. Across the wall is a string of twinkle lights hung haphazardly to provide a bit of cheer next to a framed photo of a pair of people engaging happily with one another.

  • A photo of a black and white illustration of a fat person with mid length, straight hair lying in bed with a pained expression on their face, scrunching their hands together and up toward their face, and their cellulite-covered legs up and kicking away a blanket as if it were paining them. They have on a crop top that reads, “cute,” baring a midriff full of stretch marks, and a pair of underwear with hearts all over it. Next to them is a fluffy cat with a squashed face peering closely at their human's face, tail in the air. By the person's feet rests an open laptop, showing a video on pause. Their entire room, while filled with lots of botanical prints and nature items, is very stiff and still, without any real movement to it, highlighting the person's attempts to bring life into their room. They have a solitary living plant in their small window framed by monstera leaves fabric, showing a glimpse out onto an empty road framed by tall trees. All around their walls are posters and photos tacked and taped up: one shows a botanical poster with the words "hang on to hope" on it; another has a beach; another is a different kind of botanical poster; and another is a forest scene. Amidst these are also photos of presumed loved ones or past good times. A camera rests high above their bed on a shelf, next to a box labeled "memories." There's a tiny stuffed octopus keychain hanging from the bottom of the shelf. At their bedside, near a large rug with a huge leaf print on it, is a short nightstand with a mug on it and a knocked over prescription bottle at its base on the floor.

  • A photo of a black and white illustration of a fat witch with achondroplasia using a magical wheelchair that is able to extend itself up to hoist the witch above a very large cauldron filled with a liquid. The witch is smiling as they drop tiny ingredients from their hand into that liquid. The witch has their straight hair tied up in a loose bun, and they're wearing a flowy, cropped shirt that exposes their stretch mark covered midriff, and a flowy, short skirt. On the back of their chair is a botanical blanket, reflecting their environment, which is an indoor space with lots of room and filled with plants of every shape, some hanging from the ceiling in knotted ropes, some resting on a shelf in front of rounded windows, more potted ones sitting on the floor in the background in front of shorter rounded windows, and some sitting potted on the floor in the foreground and peering up from the bottom of the illustration. Near these plants is a desk with a single flower in a clear vase, as well as a couple of sheets of paper and a pencil. The cauldron itself is very textured, and it has a royal looking sigil on its side, as well as handles. There's wooden door in the background along the same wall as the windows, and it has two hooks on it-- one for little people and one for non-little people. The shorter hook has a cape with a hood hung upon it, and it's next to the handle that is shaped in an old-fashioned style. Through the windows, we can see a forest close by, and in one of the windows above the door, we see a bird eating at a covered bird feeder.

  • A photo of a black and white illustration of a person with long, kinky hair lying in bed with a wrist brace on, blanket pulled up to their face, exposing just their hand resting on their pillow and their eyes, fast asleep. To their left is an air humidifier going and billowing soft clouds of water vapor into the air that floats toward them slightly. On the floor is a thin carpet, topped with a very fluffy rug under their bed; spilled over the rug and carpet are a pair of used socks, a smartphone that looks like it fell out of their hand while sleeping, a sweater with a spoon on it, and a pair of shorts crumpled at the foot of the bed. There's a tall bookshelf across from the bed, where lie several books on multiple shelves, a plant whose leaves cascade down, some storage boxes, and a large amethyst geode that serves as a planter for a succulent. Behind the shelves is a potted snake plant resting on a three-legged stool with a lacrosse ball at the base of its legs. Leaning against the wall and under the heavily curtained window, there is a cane, and above that, partially hidden by the curtains, is another potted plant, sitting in the window sill where we can see a flurry of rain or snow out the window. A single line of stringed twinkle lights is hung in a romantic, casual way, and they're glowing softly. Finally, tucked behind the bed on the right, is a large fiddle leaf fig tree, peeking out from the edges of the illustration and reaching toward the window. Everything in the piece is partially hidden by something else in the piece, a reference to the illustration's theme of "Invisible Illness."

  • A photo of a black and white illustration of a fat, nude person with long, dark, straight hair lying exhaustedly on a couch in a living room, curling their arms around a pillow under their head. They have a succulent tattoo on their arm that also has the text "succulent" under the plant, and they have lots and lots of rolls and stretch marks and cellulite all over their body, as well as a fair amount of acne on their face and shoulders. Their living room is sleek with large windows and has a handful of plants in it, including a fiddle leaf fig nestled in the corner between the two windows. There are two cats in the piece; one is napping near its human's head in a funny position, upside down and twisted into a kind of C-shape, front paws in the air. The other cat sits quietly on the floor near the human's belly, staring up at its human's face, seemingly observing or maybe judging-- who knows what cats are thinking? Next to the window is a shelf filled with cat toys in a box and a cat-friendly plant on top for the cats to play with. On the floor in front of this is a heap of clothing and a cane, all of which appear to make a line leading to the couch, showing the progressive loss of clothing as the person got closer to the couch. In the foreground is an oval table with a coupe of Craft magazines, a single flower in a vase, and a watercolor painting with paints and brush out. The painting is upside down to the viewer, and it reads "Sleep deeply (and often)."

They have several stretch marks and cellulite on their belly and legs, as well as a scar on their shin. At the top, in the background, is a sun in the middle, surrounded by clouds floating a fish eye perspective to give the piece a fantasy feeling.
