About + FAQ

Short Bio

Jessi Eoin (they/them) is an illustrator who loves making, reading, and talking about comics, and they have come to accept that this is probably how they would be lured by a kidnapper. They live on the occupied lands of the Canarsie and Munsee Lenape people in what is called Brooklyn, New York, United States.

Long Bio

Jessi Eoin (they/them) is a comic artist, illustrator, and writer whose work focuses on uplifting fat, disabled, queer, and trans people. Their work has been published in Just Femme & Dandy, Wizards in Space Literary Magazine, carte blanche, PeachFuzz Magazine, Rebel Mountain Press’s Disabled Voices Anthology, and elsewhere. They have also exhibited with the Feminist Art Collective’s Feminist Art Fest.

Jessi serves as a staff member for the Cartoonist Cooperative, co-managing the members-only newsletter and active on the Outreach Committee, Programming + Events Committee, and the Nib + Ink Fest Committee.

When not working, Jessi can be found in their naturally semi-feral state, bouncing between a myriad of crafty hobbies to ambushing their partner to play as he walks by minding his own business, all the while pining for tree dappled light and cool breezes.

Availability

Jessi is available for a variety of sequential art and illustrative work, including publishing and editorial projects, as well as for events. Their work is also available for licensing. Please reach out to hellojbeoin [at] gmail [dot] com.

Shop FAQ

Shipping

Shop orders are typically sent out on Wednesdays using USPS First Class service. If you would like to request expedited shipping, please reach out to me before placing your order!

I always ship your items with the utmost care and attention. However, sometimes a package can be damaged during shipping outside of my control. Unfortunately, I can’t be held responsible for damages that occur en route.

Estimated time for delivery within the United States: 1-2 weeks

Estimated time for delivery outside the United States: 7 to 21+ days

Please refer to the USPS website for updates on where they can and cannot currently ship before placing your order. If your country is listed on the suspensions list, please wait to place your order when it’s available to your area.

I do my best to get all orders shipped on time, but delays may still occur from time to time due to the nature of shipping, weather, or disability.

Please note that once a package has been shipped, it is out of my hands. I encourage you to review my Return Policy for details before you place your order and to reach out to USPS for any issues that may arise.

International Shipping (Outside US)

For customers outside the US, please bear in mind that you will be responsible for any and all additional charges that may or may not arise from customs duties and taxes, such as VAT. These additional charges vary by country and are usually due upon delivery.

For example, VAT, at the rate your country determines it to be, will be collected on the full value of the transaction including shipping costs, as the shipping costs are considered part of the total purchase. So if you’ve ordered an item for $25 USD with a $18 USD shipping charge, it will be $43 USD. Your country’s addition of the Value Added Tax will most likely be on the entire $43 USD order.

Please note that I currently cannot ship to the UK due to new VAT laws and regulations as a result of Brexit. I’m also unable to ship to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria due to US laws.

Returns

If you have any issues with your order such as an incorrect or missing item in your order, please email me at hellojbeoin [at] gmail [dot] com to give me the details, and I will happily work with you!

Otherwise, for the foreseeable future, all sales are final. If I were part of a large company and had the backing of all those resources, I would love to be able to provide you with a refund for any purchase you make. However, working as an independent artist is a much different reality.

I appreciate your understanding!

Winter Holidays

I take time off for the holidays from mid-December through late January. I encourage everyone shopping for a gift to place their order as early as possible!

The shop will remain open during the winter season, but orders placed after December 14 will be shipped sometime in late January or early February when I return from my holiday break.
