A Long Eviction

Page one of a mini comic titled "A Long Eviction." The color palette is of desaturated purples. Panel 1: A fat, nude figure (Jessi) with long wavy hair pulled out all around them stands with their arms clutched to their chest. Text in boxes around them read, "I... don't feel like I'm a good person. Sometimes I think I am, but mostly... I think I'm a bad person." Panel 2: Jessi sitting in front of their computer, speaking with someone with curly hair on the monitor. Text reads, "I'm in therapy, but it's still hard." Panel 3: Jessi's hand illustrating Panel 1. Text reads, "Even as  I draw this, I think...." Panel 4: Three thought bubbles with text that read, "You just want attention. You just want people to feel sorry for you. No one will like this because they know you're a bad person."
Page two of a mini comic titled "A Long Eviction." The color palette is of varying shades of purple with pops of white and yellow. The background is a very dark purple, almost black. Panel 1: Jessi stands surrounded by speech bubbles that press up against them from every angle, each filled with negative comments about Jessi. Text reads, "A lot of things seem to confirm my worst suspicions. The text in the speech bubbles read, "You just want attention. You just want money. You don't care. You're just too sensitive. Don't ever talk to MY family again, bitch. You're the only one who ever has a problem. Autistic people are fucking evil, man. I'm not being defensive, you're just being really aggressive. Lazy. You're such an asshole. Mean. You're unreasonable. You look scary when you don't smile. You're so rude." Jessi presses their hands to their ears to block them out. Panel 2: Jessi struggles to slam a door closed on the speech bubbles. Text above reads, "I do my best to..." Panel 3: Text continues, "...block out these words...." Jessi is in a room with their eyes closed and headphones covering their ears. In the background, the knob wriggles as if something is trying to enter. Panel 4: The text finishes, "...but...." An ominous figure opens the door with a creak and stares inside, their eyes glowing yellow as they stare.
Page three of a mini comic titled "A Long Eviction." There is only one panel, in dark shades of purple with a pop of yellow in the center emphasizing a character looming in the doorway of a brain. Their shadow is cast long and takes up the center of attention. Text reads, "She Never Leaves." A slinking set of speech bubbles inside the shadow read, "You're a bad person. You deserved it, Jessi." The name Jessi appears to have extra letters after it that have been scratched out. All around the figure, emitting from the brain, are more interconnected speech bubbles with text. They read, in no particular order, "No one likes me. I'm a terrible person. I'm not a kind person. I'm such a burden. I'm worthless. I take up too much space. I'm so rude. I'm such an asshole. I always do everything wrong. I should know better. I should be better. I don't do enough for others. I'm so selfish. I'm mean. I ask for too much. I'm not patient enough. They're too nice to say how much they dislike me."
Page four of a mini comic titled "A Long Eviction." The color palette becomes much brighter here, in shades of yellow, pink, purple, and a bit of light green at the end. Panel 1: An eviction letter on a pink slip. It reads, "Eviction Notice. Effective Immediately. Who: This bitch. Address: My brain. When: Now, get out!" Text in a speech bubble reads, "I'm working on evicting her, though." Panel 2: A brain illustrated with a person opening a door from it on the side and pointing out as if to say, "Get out!" Panel 3: Jessi carries several speech bubbles in their arms. There are so many that they squish their face. Text reads, "My therapist reminds me regularly that my mother's-- and others' words-- are not MY words. Panel 4: Jessi throws the speech bubbles into a dumpster on fire. Text reads, "It's just their opinion, and opinions aren't objective truth. Panel 5: Jessi writes many words on a large board. There are green plants around them. Text reads, "And I'm working on making new words for myself." The words Jessi writes on the board are, "Brave. Passionate. Funny. Serious, but also lighthearted. Considerate. Organized. Caring. Curious. Creative. Tries their best. Kind."
